AN EARLY MUSICAL JOURNEY

Qusai’s musical journey began young, growing up in a musically inclined family. He started playing Arabic percussion instruments in his early years, influenced by his family’s musical background. At the age of 19, he transitioned to playing the Nay and traditional wind instruments.

GUIDED BY HIS FATHER

Qusai’s father played a significant role in shaping his musical development. He provided guidance and nurtured his musical knowledge. Qusai’s musical talents were further cultivated through his involvement with the Crescendo Music and Art Academy and receiving a scholarship from the Arab Nay House Association (Bait Al Nai).

FORMAL EDUCATION & MASTERY

Qusai pursued his musical talents with dedication and determination, culminating in completing a Master’s degree in music. He now stands as a board member and instructor at Bait Al Nai, Qusai teaches the Nay in other music centers and collaborates with various music education organizations.

SHARING KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

Qusai has conducted numerous lectures and workshops, shedding light on the Nay and folk music in various local and international settings. He is also an active member of multiple local music groups, participating in numerous local and international concerts and festivals. His musical collaborations extend to working with Arab singing stars on both local and regional levels.

CREATING A MUSICAL LEGACY

Today, Qusai works in partnership with the Arab Nay House “Bait Al Nai” Association to inspire a new generation to embrace the Nay and reintegrate it into society effectively. His efforts serve the local music scene and contribute to the global musical landscape.

Qusai’s passion for the Nay and his commitment to teaching and preserving Arabic musical traditions make him a prominent figure in the world of music, leaving an indelible mark on the region’s cultural heritage.
