Antonio Moreno is a Spanish-Russian trumpeter, composer, and bandleader based in Amsterdam. Known for his distinctive lyrical tone and cinematic musical language, he has emerged as a fresh voice in Europe’s contemporary jazz and global music scenes.

As the founder and leader of the ensemble NAUSYQA, Antonio fuses Mediterranean textures, improvisation, and modern orchestration. The group has received multiple accolades, including the Denise Jannah Award at the Grachtenfestival Jazz Competition and finalist recognition in the Keep an Eye The Records showcase. In 2024, NAUSYQA was nominated for the Edison Publieksprijs. They have performed at prestigious venues such as the Bimhuis and appeared at leading festivals including North Sea Jazz Festival, Grachtenfestival, and Jazzahead!.

Antonio is a sought-after collaborator and has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists such as Antonio Lizana, Harmen Fraanje, Ernst Reijseger, Mehdi Nassouli, and Yoran Vroom. His performances have taken him across major European stages, including Bimhuis, Paradox Tilburg, Jazz in Duketown, and beyond.
